Hear from packaging and drug delivery thought leaders at Pharmapack Europe

Pharmapack Europe is back! Join us online from 27 September as we kick off our two-week long content programme, a great precursor to the in-person event from 13-14 October at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Find out the latest in pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery developments with over 50 expert-led content sessions.

1. Product & Solution Innovations

It could be argued that the packaging and drug delivery sector is one of the most innovative across the pharma supply chain, with companies striving to develop products and solutions which are increasingly user-friendly, patient-adherent and sustainable.

The first week of the Pharmapack Europe content programme focuses on the most exciting products and solutions coming out of the market through our collection of Learning Labs. These are 20 minute webinars from leading pharma companies spanning everything from Regulatory Requirements for Extractables & Leachables Testing (Nelson Laboratories) to Future Trends in Injection Device Development (Sulzer).

Learning Labs will be available on-demand, making it easy to dip in and out as your schedule allows. Browse the full roster of sessions in our digital agenda:

3. The Pharmapack Europe Awards

This year, the Pharmapack Awards ceremony will also be digital, and will be broadcast on October 12th at 16:00 CET. Whilst we'll be celebrating in a slightly different way, this is a great opportunity to bring together the packaging and drug delivery community from across the globe, to not only celebrate the wins against adversity over the last year and a half, but also to discuss the wealth of creative ideas that continues to drive the industry forwards.

We'll be celebrating innovation across the Exhibitor Awards, which allow eligible Pharmapack Europe Exhibitors to present their latest innovations, in proof of concept or prototype stage, which have been either launched or patented since January 2020.

This year, we have finalists across four categories:

Routes of Administration
Connected Devices & Wearables
Primary Packaging
Excellence in Packaging Sustainability

We'll also be recognising excellence through our Health Product Category Awards, for which we invite innovative entries from pharmaceutical, veterinary, biopharma or OEM companies who have received market authorization from a qualified national authority for a newly commercialized medicinal product after December 2019.

To find out this year's winners, register for your Pharmapack Europe pass and bookmark the Awards session in the online event platform.

4. Discover our Start-Up Hub

A popular feature of the Pharmapack Exhibition has always been our Start-Up Hub - a space dedicated to young companies developing and expanding new technologies in the fields of pharmaceutical packaging, labelling, drug delivery device design and engineering.

This year, we have seven exciting Start-Ups both at the show and online, as part of our content programme. If you're looking to understand where innovation is coming from, make sure you bookmark our Start-Up Hub sessions on 11 October. Topics span AI technologies, new parenteral drug delivery approaches and pioneering device solutions.

This year's Start-up Hub is sponsored by Polymeris.

5. Tune into the Pharmapack Podcast

On the train to Paris? Taking a screen break? Walking your dog? Why not tune into the Pharmapack Podcast on Integrating Bio-based and Recyclable Materials into Pharmaceutical Packaging?

The pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery industries are coming under ever increasing scrutiny when it comes to making their packaging production processes sustainable, and bio-based and recyclable plastic materials offer tremendous opportunities for packaging and devices companies to reduce their carbon footprint.

Listen to our interview with Jean Jacques Legat, Technical and Industrial Director, Polymeris, and Manon Guyader, Innovation Health Project Manager, Polymeris, as we discuss the various initiatives the business cluster is launching to address these vital issues.

The content programme is completely free to access with a Pharmapack Europe registration. If you don't have your pass yet, sign up here.
