7,500 trees to support our planet

Did you know that one tree removes an average of 10 kilograms of carbon dioxide from the air? As part of our commitment to help protect the environment, we will celebrate Grünenthal’s 75th birthday by planting 7,500 trees. Learn more about the #TreesForOurPlanet reforestation project

Trees are essential for wellbeing – and for the planet. That is why we are marking our 75th anniversary by planting a symbolic number of 7,500 trees around the world.

Every year, one tree removes an average of 10 kilograms of carbon dioxide from the air – and research shows some trees even store up to 16 kilograms per year in the first 20 years of their life. Forests have an incredible potential to help tackle climate change and protect the planet. Planting more trees can make a long-lasting positive impact.

At Grünenthal, we just started our #TreesForOurPlanet reforestation initiative. As part of the celebrations for our company’s 75th anniversary, we have committed to planting 7,500 trees worldwide by the end of this year. This is the latest step in our aspiration to help protect the planet for future generations.

#TreesForOurPlanet will be a global effort, and all Grünenthal colleagues can contribute by planting trees in their region.
