CPHI returns to Philadelphia from May 20-22, 2025 under a new name – CPHI Americas. As we aim to bring together pharma professionals for 3 days of innovation and collaboration, CPHI Americas 2025 hopes to recognise the growing influence of the Americas in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
While we look forward to welcoming all attendees, new and returning, the number of features, exhibitors, and conference theatres can be overwhelming for anyone. This guide helps you dissect all our new offerings so you can make the most of your trip to the Philadelphia Convention Center. Read on to learn what new experiences and offerings you can expect from this expanded and enhanced version of CPHI Americas, straight from the heart of pharma.
Bioproduction Zone and Theatre
Discover the future of bioproduction with the all-new bioproduction zone at CPHI Americas. Featuring a range of companies dedicated to the biopharmaceutical production of biologics, biosimilars, and advanced manufacturing, this zone is your gateway to key players and innovators in bioproduction.
As a sector, the production of biologics has seen a marked growth in interest and investment from all sectors of the pharmaceutical industry. With the rise of GLP-1 agonoists and its biosimilars already in the pipeline, and cell and gene therapies achieving more US FDA approvals than other advanced therapies to date (14+ gene therapies and 10+ cell therapies approved as of 2024), bioproduction and bioprocessing will be a major focus for all in the industry.
Conference Tracks
CPHI Americas once again brings together pharmaceutical experts and thought-leaders together at our conference tracks for 3 days of stimulating conversations and knowledge-sharing. This year, we are focusing on the following themes spread across two theatres – the Mainstage Theatre and the Innovation Theatre:

Emerging Professionals Badge
The pharmaceutical industry can be an intimidating place, made up of big, powerful companies, heavily involved in global politics and healthcare, trying to get a foot in the door can seem a daunting prospect.
As CPHI is one of the world’s largest facilitators for building connections in pharma, whether business to business or on a more individual level, it is well placed to open that door into the industry for emerging professionals.
CPHI aims to embody a guiding figure for professionals in pharma just starting out and in the first 3 years of their careers. To do this, at CPHI Americas we have launched a new attendee badge, the Emerging Professionals badge, for a reduced, more accessible price.
The badge will not only allow admittance to CPHI Americas in Philadelphia, but grant access to the content sessions, where you can learn about the latest trends and challenges in the industry, the CPHI app, where you can learn about the show and connect with other pharma professionals, access to the Match and Meet areas, where you can grow your network, and an exclusive welcome gift to help promote career progression.
Make the most of CPHI Americas and find out from the experts what they wished they’d known at the start of their careers.

The Future of LATAM and CPHI Americas
With the renaming of CPHI Americas to broaden the focus and encompass the whole of the American continent, this year’s event will highlight in particular the rise of the LATAM pharmaceutical market and supply chain.
Poised for significant growth in the coming years, the LATAM pharma market is already valued at US$98 billion, with an expected growth of 10.1% and the possibility of surpassing both the North American market (3.1%) and Europe (3.9%) [1]. The region has been driven by the demand in immunity products, especially post-COVID-19, as well as plant-based solutions, improved dosage formats, and boosted awareness for disease prevention [2]. Technological innovation in the LATAM pharma market – such as nanotechnology, enhanced AI applications, and digital healthcare – are gaining momentum in an exciting part of the pharmaceutical world [2].
Featuring speakers from across the LATAM pharmaceutical market, including Juan de Villafranca of the AMELAF (Mexican Pharmaceutical Laboratories Association), Ricardo Castro of Elysian Bio, Sandra Sanchez-Oldenhage of Pharmadvice, and more, we will be hosting sessions and panels – including Breaking Ground Together: Unlocking Collaborative Opportunities in the LATAM Pharma Market - discussing where the pharmaceutical supply chain in LATAM is headed. We are excited to bring your attention to one of the most exciting markets emerging in recent years.
Start-Up Market
The Start-Up Market returns to CPHI Americas for another year of networking and connection. For companies introducing an innovative concept to the market that is scalable and demonstrates the potential for positive impact in the Americas pharma market, the Start-Up Market offers a unique opportunity to showcase innovative solutions from emerging companies, engage industry leaders and entrepreneurs in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and position emerging businesses in front of thousands of industry professionals, investors, and clients. Some of the Start-Ups slated to participate in this year’s Market include:
The Biologics Manufacturing Centre (BMC) Inc.
An end-to-end GMP biomanufacturing facility, BMC Inc. Supports the growth of domestic biomanufacturing production capacity, with the aim of promoting access to essential biologics at home in Canada and abroad. As an independent not-for-profit governmental organisation, The BMC strives to ensure public response to diseases are supported through key partnerships with industry and academia to advance and accelerate innovation within the life sciences sector.
BPR Hub
Challenges related to regulatory compliance documentation and auditing remain a thorn in the pharmaceutical industry’s side. BPR Hub offers an automated solution to various industries, including pharmaceuticals and biomanufacturing, to integrated multiple compliance standards into a single platform, automating documentation, audits, and operational tracking, giving companies time to focus on operational efficiency and innovative growth.
ImmuNovX Biotech
Vaccine innovation became a core focus for the pharmaceutical industry during and right after the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, vaccine technology has entered a new age as vaccine-preventable diseases become the target for many companies around the world. ImmuNovX Biotech provides an innovative platform technology to power the rapid, large-scale, and cost-effective production of live-attenuated, replication-defective antigens for a new class of vaccines against DNA-containing pathogens, promising to be a game-changer for addressing global diseases in the US and worldwide.
