Advion with Lilly to Open Bioanalytical Lab

Advion BioServices Inc., a provider of contract bioanalytical research services, will collaborate with Eli Lilly to establish a laboratory in Indianapolis.

Advion BioServices will open a 22,000-sq.-ft. drug discovery bioanalytical lab in Indianapolis. The lab is expected to be fully operational by the end of May 2011. The new Indianapolis facility will focus on the earlier stage, drug discovery bioanalytical services, evaluating how a potential drug is absorbed and metabolized in experimental models.

Advion’s primary focus is to provide high-quality, later stage bioanalytical drug development services as required by global regulatory agencies, including the FDA.

Advion has also entered into a new, multi-year contract with Lilly
