Ajinomoto will have two businesses represented at CPhI: the Amino Science division and Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services. Ajinomoto Amino Sciences develops and manufactures high quality amino acids for the bio-pharmaceutical industry. The amino acids are produced under cGMP conditions with non-animal materials, and are unsurpassed in quality and purity. Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services is comprised of the recently unified Ajinomoto Althea and OmniChem organizations. Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services is a global and fully integrated CDMO for small and large molecules, providing comprehensive process development services, cGMP manufacturing and aseptic fill finish services, including ADCs/cytotoxics and oligonuceotides.

  • Alsok 01

    Product Alsok 01

    Ajinomoto offers a wide range of products which includes alsok 01. It is a high molecular weight hydrolysable tannic acid specially purified for high-end applications such as cosmetics or supplements. It s a 100 % natural material extracted from renewable plant materials using dedicated strictly controlled production facilities. No added preservatives or additives are used in the production of alsok 01. Appearance: light yellow granular powder, free of visible impurities. Odour: practically odourless. Taste: neutral/slight astringent taste, tasteless at normal dosage levels. Usage: It has an ORAC-value of 20000 µ mol TE/g or higher. Due to its pale colour it is particularly suitable in applications were a pale colour is an absolute prerequisite. Storage and handling: It does not require special storage conditions and has a shelf life of min. 5 years if stored in a dry area in its original closed packaging. The product is not frost sensitive and normal ambient temperatures (i.e. 5-25°C) suffice. Packaging: It is available as a spray-dried granular product in 25 kg fibre drums lined with an inner polyethylene bag.

    Product Alsok 02

    Ajinomoto offers a wide range of products which includes alsok 02. It is a pure medium to high molecular weight hydrolysable tannin specially purified for applications in the food industry. It s a 100 % natural material extracted from renewable plant materials using dedicated strictly controlled production facilities. No added preservatives or additives are used in the production of alsok 02. Appearance: light yellow granular powder, free of visible impurities. Odour: slight in solution, typical tannic acid. Usage: It range from 0.01 g/kg up to 2 g/kg. It s typically added as a 5 – 10 % solution. Storage and handling: It does not require special storage conditions and has a shelf life of min. 5 years if stored in a dry area in its original closed packaging. The product is not frost sensitive and normal ambient temperatures (i.e. 5-25°C) suffice. Packaging: It is available as a spray-dried granular product in 25 kg for 50 lbs fibre drums lined with an inner polyethylene bag.

    Product Brewtan B

    Ajinomoto offers a wide range of products which includes brewtan B. It is a high molecular weight food grade hydrolysable tannic acid suitable for brewing applications. It belongs to brewery category. It is is specifically designed for early stage stabilisation of beer during mashing-in or boiling. It is a 100 % natural material extracted from renewable plant materials using dedicated strictly controlled production facilities. No added preservatives or additives are used in the production of Brewtan B. Apperance: light yellow granular powder, free of visible impurities. Odour: practically odourless. Taste: neutral / astringent taste. Usage: Brewtan A is typically added as a 5 – 10 % solution. It is added in the mashing water before the addition of the malt, typical dosage levels are 2-6 g/hl. It is added max. 5 min before the end of the boiling process or during the transfer to the whirlpool, typical dosage levels are 2-6 g/hl. Storage and handling: It does not require special storage conditions and has a shelf life of min. 5 years if stored in a dry area in its original closed packaging. It is not frost sensitive and normal ambient storage temperatures(i.e. 5 - 25°C) suffice. Packaging: It is available as a spray-dried granular product in 25 kg fibre drums lined with an inner polyethylene bag.
