AstraZeneca to Establish Tech Center in Russia

AstraZeneca is planning to set up a Predictive Science Center in St. Petersburg in 2012 to strengthen its investments in Russia.

AstraZeneca announced yesterday that it will establish a Predictive Science Centre in St. Petersburg in 2012. The move will strengthen AstraZeneca's investments in Russia and support the Russian Government's strategy to modernise and develop the country's pharmaceutical sector.

 

The new AstraZeneca Predictive Science Centre in Russia will leverage local scientific talent and focus on developing bioinformatics, data analysis methods, software and systems to better predict the safety and efficacy of potential new medicines.
