Bachem to Conclude Integration of Sochinaz by June

Bachem would successfully conclude the integration of fine chemicals firm Sochinaz into the group as of June 30.

Bachem, a Swiss supplier of peptide active ingredients for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, announced that it would complete the integration of fine chemicals firm Sochinaz by 30 June.

The Sochinaz plant in Vionnaz will operate as a branch of Bachem, based in Bubendorf, with the same product line and services.

Bachem says combining the organisational units of the two locations will produce synergies in both sales and marketing and research and development. Currently around 100 people work at Vionnaz and no jobs cuts are envisaged.

Bachem Group chief executive Dr Rolf Nyfeler, said: ‘Having now completed the integration of Sochinaz and restructured our US operations last year, Bachem has put in
