Bausch + Lomb Bolsters Product Portfolio with ISTA Acquisition
Bausch + Lomb has completed its acquisition of ISTA Pharmaceuticals.
Global eye health company Bausch + Lomb has boosted its product portfolio and pipeline with the acquisition of ISTA Pharmaceuticals.
ISTA is a leading pharmaceutical company with four prescription products: Bromday, Bepreve, Istalol and Vitrase.
These now join Bausch + Lomb's existing portfolio, which includes products such as Lotemax and Besivance.
Bausch + Lomb has acquired ISTA Pharmaceuticals for approximately $500 million in a deal described as an "exciting development for eye health".
