Biocard selects CRO Starter Kit CTMS by Flex Databases

Flex Databases, a company specialising in clinical trial software, has announced that Biocard has selected Flex CRO Starter Kit as its business automation platform.

With offices in Frankfurt, Germany and local presence across Russia and Belarus, Biocard is a full service CRO with a strong record of fast and high quality recruitment, covering Western, Central and Eastern European countries. Besides clinical trial management, Biocard offers drug import services and bioequivalence study support. Biocard will use CRO Starter Kit to further improve its operational efficiency and solidify its position as a forward looking CRO open to innovative technology.

"The market is changing, and what was sufficient 5 years ago is no longer enough today", said Oleg Baykov, Director of Business Development at Biocard. "The standard of operational efficiency is rising across industries, driven by advances in technology in the business-to-consumer market. Sponsors expect true efficiency and timely flow of reliable information, which is impossible to achieve without Professional Services Automation software, and CRO Starter Kit™ is the only PSA suite for clinical research available on the market. We now have a platform built for small and medium CROs, with highly sought after clinical research tools such as eTMF included in the platform."

"We are delighed to have been selected by Biocard", said Timur Galimov, Technical Director of Flex Databases. "As a company with long history and wealth of experience in clinical research, Biocard were a demanding prospect, and we feel that this deal will serve as additional validation for our business model and platform philosophy which is still ground breaking for the clinical research market."
