BIVACARD?

Biocon offers a wide range of metabolic which includes bivacard. Composition: bivalirudin for injection 250 mg (lyophilized), each vial contains: bivalirudin 250 mg. Excipients q.s. Mechanism of action: bivalirudin directly inhibits thrombin by specifically binding both to the catalytic site and to the anion-binding exosite of fluid phase and clot bound thrombin. Indications: patients with unstable angina undegoing percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, in combination with aspirin and provisional use of glycoprotein iib/iiia inhibitor in patients undergoing pci and also in combination with aspirin for treatment of patients with, or at risk of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia or heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and thrombosis syndrome (hit/hitts) undergoing pci
