Bristol-Myers Squibb Announces Global Industry-academia Collaboration

The International Immuno-Oncology Network will work to improve scientists' understanding of ways to harness the immune system to fight cancer.

Bristol-Myers Squibb has announced the formation of a new global collaboration between industry and academic institutions that will work together to advance the field of immuno-oncology.

 

The International Immuno-Oncology Network (II-ON) aims to discover ways to harness the body's own immune system to fight cancer.

 

A total of ten leading cancer research institutions in France, Italy, Spain, the UK, The Netherlands and the US make up the network, which hopes to advance innovation in drug discovery and development.
