Canada's Paladin Labs Acquires Labopharm
Canadian pharmaceutical firm Paladin Labs completes the acquisition of drug developer Labopharm. The acquisition will help them build upon their existing operational capabilities.
Montreal-based speciality pharmaceutical firm Paladin Labs has completed the acquisition of all outstanding common shares of drug developer Labopharm.
Labopharm develops novel polymeric, nano-delivery systems for delivery of water-insoluble and poorly bio-available drugs.
Paladin Labs interim president and CEO Mark Beaudet said that, through the addition of established international revenue streams, the acquisition will provide them the opportunity to build upon their existing operational capabilities.
