CRO increases MENA presence with Istanbul base

ClinTec has announced the opening of a new office in Istanbul

A leading contract research organisation (CRO) has increased its presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) with the opening of a new office in the Turkish capital of Istanbul.

In an announcement made today (May 21st), ClinTec International revealed this latest base will be in addition to its offices in Cairo, Dubai and Beirut.

It coincides with the news that the company is sponsoring the Partnerships in Clinical Trials Russia-CIS & MENA-Turkey conference, scheduled for May 22nd to 23rd in Istanbul.

Founder and chief executive of ClinTec, Dr Rabinder Buttar suggested the new office would help consolidate the company's reputation as a global provider of clinical research services.

He said: "It also reflects the growing significance of Turkey - and the wider MENA region - to the global clinical research market."

The company is "delighted" to be spearheading the development of expertise across Turkey and the MENA region as a whole, Dr Rabinder added.
