Product Description

These resins are characterized by high crosslinking, large surface area and calibrated pore radius; therefore, they are suitable for recovery/removal and purification of organic molecules. Synthetic adsorbents are a series of products based on ion exchange resin manufacturing technology, and are designed for the uses as solid extractant. Synthetic adsorbents have large surface area and fine pore structures inside the particle like activated carbon. For this porous characteristic, they can effectively adsorb organic compounds from aqueous solutions. Extraction processes with synthetic adsorbents enables reducing solvent amount and safer operations compared with conventional solvent extraction techniques. If the selective separation of smaller size molecules from feed solutions containing proteins is required, synthetic adsorbents with smaller pore sizes such as SEPABEADSTM SP series are recommended. On the contrary, synthetic adsorbent with a larger pore size, such as the DIAIONTM HP series, will be suitable for the separation of larger molecules. Our synthetic adsorbent resins are currently widely referenced in pharma manufacturing process, also for small-molecules intermediates and APIs purification.

    Product RELITE™ and DIAION™ ION EXCHANGE RESINS product lines

    RELITE™ and DIAIONTM ion exchange and adsorbent resins are stable insoluble copolymers into which active acid or basic groups are introduced by appropriate chemical reactions. DIAION™ and SEPABEADS™ products are known throughout the world for excellent performance, superior physical and chemical properties and lot-to-lot reproducibility for industrial separations and purifications. Gel type ion exchange resins It is matter of ion exchangers manufactured by polymerization of styrene or acrylate with DVB as cross linker, and subjected to functionalization. This kind of resins are characterized by a microporous structure able to recover/remove small counter ions from polar solvents. Through them, waters and solute species diffuse into and out of the beads. Porous ion exchange resins These resins are characterized by a moderate crosslinking degree. Porous resins have excellent swelling/shrinking stability, high resistance to organic contamination and outstanding decolorizing properties. The large pores (macropores) give improved diffusion of solutes inside beads. Highly porous ion exchange resins These resins are characterized by high crosslinking, large surface area and pore volume; therefore, they are suitable for large counter ions recovery/removal from both polar and non polar solvents. Chelating resinsChelating resins are designed to catch certain types of ions of transition and alkaline earth metals or some kinds of anionic species tend to form complexes by coordination with certain type of compounds called "ligand.“ Our ion exchange resins are currently widely referenced in pharma manufacturing process, also for small-molecules intermediates and APIs purification.
