Basic Engineering - Transform your optimized process into manufacturingMICROINNOVA's engineering team is turning developed continuous chemical laboratory processes into your desired manufacturing plants. Starting with first steps such as piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and a User Requirement Specification (URS) will allow to fully understand your future manufacturing plant. Furthermore, we will provide you with an order-ready or budget offer.

Detailed Engineering - Optimal design through our deep process understandingOur highly-skilled and experienced engineers design every single part of your plant systems. In the prepared 3D-designs we particularly focus on important issues such as optimization of hold-up volumes, avoiding of dead volume, narrow residence time distribution and enhanced usability. Naturally, cGMP- and ATEX-compliant designs are available for all plant systems. Microinnova will handle all of your concerns to realize your manufacturing plant.

Plant realization - Commissioning and TrainingThis phase particularly is comprised of the processing of the order transaction, the controlling and monitoring of the plant assembly and the creation of documentation. The plant commissioning at the customer’s site is done by Microinnova's engineers. A plant with exceptional quality and process technology requirements, compliance with agreed dates and a complete documentation are important cornerstones of a successful project handling.

    My name is Katharina and I will show you how continuous modular plants will change chemical processing for a more sustainable future, using modular plug & play plants. We see some issues with batch processing. Sometimes there are concentration spots, the walls are too hot for the molecules. Our philosophy is that all molecules should have the same processing conditions. This we realize by looking at the critical parameters of the chemistry and selecting the right process intensification technology. Furthermore, the space-time-yield can be maximized by a magnitude or more by reducing mass and heat transfer distances, leading to much shorter residence times and compact designs. Since we already have a continuous operating plant in the lab, scale-up becomes much easier. Continuous manufacturing allows for superior quality control due to advanced PAT. Standardized modules enable a quick realization of reduced time to produce and time-to-market. More infos below video!
