FLAVOXALE® is a unique ingredient derived from the combination of an exclusive propolis extract (M.E.D. propolis), manuka honey and manuka essential oil.

Manuka tea trees (Leptospermum scoparium) are small trees or shrubs distributed throughout New Zealand in widely varying climates, altitudes, and population densities. Use of the bark, leaves, sap, and seed capsules of these plants is reported in New Zeland’s memories, especially in beverage supplements and in pharmaceutical and medicinal preparations. The most important products derived from Manuka tea trees are Manuka honey and Manuka essential oil, both alone showing a great anti inflammation and anti bacterial activity.

Manuka honey is rich in MethylGlyoxale (MGO), the compound primarily responsible for its Non-Peroxide Activity (N.P.A.), which forms from the nectar-derived compound, dihydroxyacetone (DHA), during the ripening of honey.
