Granulation

Rottendorf Pharma offers a wide range of services which includes granulation. It is a development as well as manufacturing service. Features of development service: Fluid bed granulation- Granulation and drying, batches of 1 – 50 kg conforming to GMP/FDA, granulation with organic solvents, hot-melt granulation technology (heated nozzle). Wet granulation- High-shear mixers of 1 – 60 litres, granulation with organic solvents, tray drying, fluid bed drying. Dry granulation- Roller granulator, continuous process, immediate size reduction of the compactate to the defined particle size, reproducible data from sub-lots of 2 kg upwards. Features of manufacturing service: Fluid bed granulation- Continuous fluidised bed, split of product filters, pre-trials on laboratory scale, drying of granules from diosna high-shear mixers as well, granulation with organic solvents. Wet granulation / vacuum granulation- One-pot process under a vacuum, wet granulation in high-shear mixers, granulation with organic solvents, tray drying. Dry granulation: Immediate reduction of the compactate to the defined particle size, closed system, prevention of dust explosions, production of development scale batches.
