Hyderabad to host intl conference on pharma, bioanalytics and cosmetics from November 22 to 24

A series of international conferences and exhibitions on pharma regulatory affairs, analytical & bioanalytical techniques, cosmetics & cosmetology and food processing technology are set to begin at the International Convention Centre (HICC) in Hyderabad from November 22 to 24.

A series of international conferences and exhibitions on pharma regulatory affairs, analytical & bioanalytical techniques, cosmetics & cosmetology and food processing technology are set to begin at the International Convention Centre (HICC) in Hyderabad from November 22 to 24.

 

The mega international event is being organised by the OMICS group, and a series of International meetings and exhibitions will be conducted during this event. Major among the conferences that are expected to attract the attention of the industry are the third and second international conferences on analytical and bioanalytical techniques and the pharmaceutical regulator affairs which are scheduled to begin on November 22 & 23 respectively.

 

The main aim of the conferences is to discuss and focus on various contemporary issues related to pharma regulatory affairs, cosmetology and cosmetics, food processing technology, analytical and bioanalyitcal techniques.

 

Invitees from across the globe are expected to take part at the conference. “Approximately 800 delegates and high-level decision makers from over 25 countries representing various parts of the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and instrumentation industry are expected at the two-day event,” said Dr Ravi Kumar Dasari, Head-OMICS Group.

 

As recent regulations by government on pharma industry have created a flutter in the country, the conference is expected to highlight various regulatory issues concerning the industry. “The event is a big platform to discuss contemporary issues of the pharma industry. My focus of discussion at the event is regarding regulatory issues on clinical trials in emerging markets. As the emerging markets like India and other developing nations in Asia and Africa are fast becoming the hubs for clinical trials it is important to focus on prevailing clinical trial regulatory scenario and future prospects of the Industry,” said SV Krishna Prasad, CEO and director, Cito Healthcare, who is giving a presentation on Clinical trials in emerging markets.

 

Earlier, the first International Conference on Pharmaceutical regulatory affairs was held in BWI Airport Baltimore last year in September. It focused on "Research & Advancements in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs", which brought together large and medium pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostics companies, leading universities, clinical research institutions and dignitaries from Quality & Regulatory departments of FDA.

 

During the event of second international conference on pharma regulatory affairs it is expected that industry experts will deliberate and give presentations on various topics relating to regulatory affairs for healthcare products, biologics and medical devices, drug development and NDDS (Novel Drug Delivery Systems), drug interactions and toxicity, biologics, novel therapies and other special categories.

 

It is learnt that experts will also focus their discussions on OTC (Over the Counter) drug products, herbal medicines and homoeopathic medicines, safety and quality regulation, business, law enforcement and education, biomedical intellectual property management, regulatory compliances in health care, novel strategies for growth in the pharma and regulatory environment.
