Supports in the hydration and restoration of the vaginal mucosa

The Vaginal Gel of Hyaluronic Acid is indicated for the amelioration of vaginal dryness:

(a) in postmenopausal women with established vaginal atrophy and symptoms of irritation, itching and pain during sexual intercourse (dyspareunia),

(b) in premenopausal women after recent surgery in the genital area, predisposing to dyspareunia, and

(c) in women with dystrophy of the vaginal mucosa due to, ionizing radiation, cryoablation, chemotherapy, corticosteroids, oral contraceptives, or any other medical intervention.

Hyaluronic acid in vaginal gel is also indicated:

- to support wound care after birth,

- to facilitate recovery in surgical gynecological operations of the vagina,

-to sooth inflammation and help to reduce the discomfort caused by dryness of the vaginal mucosa associated with aging or estrogen deficiency due to menopause, in the states of atrophy and dystrophy, especially recommended for its use as an adjunct in the states of dystrophy caused by chronic administration of glucocorticoids,

- to facilitate the better caring of wounds, and to facilitate sexual intercourse.
