I Holland Showcases Their Most Innovative New Product Developments at ACHEMA

I Holland will be exhibiting some of it most innovative products at ACHEMA, Frankfurt from 15 to 19 June, and will showcase a number of forward-thinking new products, which will be launched exclusively at the show.
The company has introduced a number of innovative product developments and studies during its 70 year history which have helped to transform the way tablet manufacture is undertaken.

The philosophy of ‘constant innovation’ through their understanding of tableting science continues in 2015 with the introduction of new products and which will be shown for the first time to visitors of ACHEMA.

I Holland’'s innovative products and solutions will also extend into the general conference programme, where Rob Blanchard, Research, Development and Quality Systems Manager will talk through the reasons why tablet formulations stick to punch tip faces and how to overcome sticking issues by using the TSAR-Predict model, which calculates particle adhesion levels and which coating would help in solving sticking problems.
Andy Dumelow, I Holland’'s PharmaCare Product Manager said: “"ACHEMA is a very important exhibition for us and it will give us the opportunity to not only showcase new products, but also engage with the audience through Rob’'s presentation on one of I Holland'’s most innovative projects, TSAR-Predict. “As well the new product launches we will also be introducing the European market to I Holland'’s new MF80 automated punch polisher, which offers a large capacity for increased polishing per cycle.

"“MF80 has been designed to increase polishing volume, thanks to the product’s 80-L drum which can hold up to 17 B or 12 D punches per holder, giving a maximum of 85 B or 60 D punches per polishing cycle. “It also offers a solution to overcoming tooling problems like sticking and corrosion. The importance of maintaining tools is essential to extending the life of tablet tooling and by using a machine like the MF80 as part of the I Holland 7 Step PharmaCare process, a professional maintenance and storage programme, tooling life will be extended.  We will demonstrating the benefits of MF80 on the stand, where visitors will be able to see first-hand just how the product can help in increasing tooling life.”"

Rob Blanchard will be holding the presentation on overcoming tablet sticking issues at 11 am on Thursday 18 June in Congress Messe Frankfurt Room Harmonie 1.
