Immerse Yourself in the Real and Virtual Worlds of Continuous Manufacturing

26 Sep 2019

Taking center stage at this year’s CPhI Worldwide 2019 will be ConsiGma®, a multipurpose platform that has been designed to transfer powder into coated tablets in development, pilot, clinical and production volumes in a single compact unit.

At the heart of this year’s CPhI Worldwide (Frankfurt, Germany - 05-07 Nov. 2019), GEA (stand number 110C70) will be presenting a selection of equipment for the batch and continuous granulation, tableting and coating of pharmaceutical products, as well as containment solutions, separation technologies and equipment for materials handling, homogenization and freeze drying.

Immerse Yourself in the Real and Virtual Worlds of Continuous Manufacturing

Taking center stage will be ConsiGma®, a multipurpose platform that has been designed to transfer powder into coated tablets in development, pilot, clinical and production volumes in a single compact unit.

In the on-stand Continuous Experience room, attendees will be able to journey into the 3D world of virtual reality and take a closer look at the ConsiGma® CDC 50 Continuous Direct Compression system, which recently produced more than 15 million tablets during a 120-h trial run, and the ConsiGma® Coater, our revolutionary, high performance tablet coating technology that accurately deposits controlled amounts of coating materials on tablets — even if they are hygroscopic or friable.

To answer any questions about #GoingConti, GEA’s Dr Jim Holman, the renowned continuous manufacturing expert, will be available throughout the event to discuss #TheContiTruth.

For a slightly more real-world learning opportunity, GEA is also hosting a free-to-attend pre-CPhI event on 4 November in Wommelgem, Belgium. Here, visitors will take part in demonstrations and presentations, get to see ConsiGma® equipment in action and benefit from a thorough understanding of our technologies, including wet granulation, direct compression and coating.

Back at CPhI, our experts will be happy to meet you and talk about Quality by Design (QbD) for oral solid dosage production, quality control and process optimization. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, discover and experience innovative equipment in action with our inspirational people.
