Preparation of Bilayer ODTs with Superior Interfacial Strength Using GRANFILLER-D™

 In this study, we verified applicability of orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs) to continuous manufacturing. We produced ODTs with our co-processed excipient, which is HiSORAD™, by applying dry granulation process. 

In this article, we report the development of orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs) which shape are suitable for pediatric formulations containing high performance excipients, GRANFILLER-D™ and HiSORAD™.

HiSORAD™ is a state-of-the-art co-processed excipient for orally disintegrating tablets designed to have well-balanced property between orally disintegration time and tablet hardness. HiSORAD™ enables to produce ODTs by direct compression with three advantages: Practical flowability, excellent compactability and rapid disintegration.
