Brochure Chela-Mag B6 + D3 - product presentation
Chela-Mag B6® + D3 is a dietary supplement with a uniquely combined, highly bioavailable, mode of magnesium, in the form of Albion®amino acid chelate with 2000 IU of vitamin D3 and vitamins B6 and K2. Magnesium is an essential element in the biosynthesis of the active form of vitamin D. Research suggests that the intake of magnesium with diets or supplements reduces the likelihood of insufficient levels of vitamin D in the body, and the consequences thereof (*Deng et al. BMC Medicine 2013, 11187; *J Am Osteopath Assoc. 2018;118(3)181-189). In addition, it has been observed that vitamin D can stimulate the intestinal absorption of magnesium (**Brannan et al. 1976 Jun; 57(6) 1412-1418)
Research shows that magnesium
helps in the proper functioning of the muscles, plays a role in the proper functioning of the nervous system, helps maintain the proper psychological functions, contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, takes part in maintaining healthy bones and teeth, is involved in maintaining the electrolyte balance, is involved in efficient energy metabolism and helps in proper protein synthesis. -
Brochure Arginilan - product presentation
Arginilan - food for special medical purposes. This product contains sweeteners.
For dietary use on patients during radiotherapy, after surgery, with difficult-to-heal wounds and bedsores, and after strokes, in the chronic stage.
Arginilan is a product containing a high proportion of L-arginine, a highly digestible collagen hydrolysate, zinc (in the form of Albion® amino acid chelate), and vitamins A and C.
L-arginine
The L-arginine contained in the preparation is an amino acid, which is essential in certain clinical situations. It is a nutrient from which active biological compounds, e.g. nitric oxide, are formed. This, in turn, takes part in bactericidal processes, which have a positive impact on the process of wound healing.
Collagen
Collagen is a building block for connective tissues, such as skin and cartilage tissues. The use of 5 g of collagen per day maintains the elasticity of the skin (1), which is important for the treatment of bedsore wounds.
Vitamins A and C and zinc help heal wounds and prevent bedsores.
Zinc also plays a role in regeneration processes (2). 1. Skin Pharmacol Physiol. 2014;27(1)47-55. 2. J. Am. Geriatr. Soc. 2009 Aug;57(8)1395-402.

Brochure LievUp - product presentation
The product is intended for dietary management in people at risk of muscle-mass loss, due to, among others, periods of immobilisation, and recovery and rehabilitation, as well as those related to age, sarcopenia, and chronic diseases, and in people with increased protein requirements at risk of malnutrition or being malnourished.
A unique composition of ingredients protein derived from high-quality whey-protein concentrate, HMB, creatine monohydrate, zinc in the form of highly digestible Albion® amino acid chelate, and vitamin D for maintaining muscle mass.
Food for special medical purposes. Contains sugars and sweeteners.
As studies show, HMB contributes to the preservation of muscle mass in the elderly, and may be useful in the prevention of muscle atrophy resulting from immobilisation or other factors.
Creatine is an amine naturally found in the human body, mainly in the muscles, which is synthesised from three amino acids - methionine, glycine and arginine. In muscle tissue, it is primarily stored in the form of the phosphocreatine involved in the resynthesis of ATP during muscle contraction. Studies conducted so far confirm the potential therapeutic effects of creatine administration on the improvement in the quality of life, through the increase in strength and increased resistance to fatigue, and the prevention of bone-mass loss in elderly.
PROTEIN is one of the main factors positively influencing the preservation of muscle mass, and, as shown by research conducted by the Institute of Food and Nutrition, the elderly sometimes tend to consume too-low amounts of this substance.
In addition, maintaining protein intake during periods when muscles are not being used stops the loss of muscle mass; the loss of muscle mass has numerous negative consequences for health.
Zinc plays an important role in many biochemical pathways, and participates in some cellular functions, including immune response.
A recent European study of 102 elderly people found that 44% of them had Zinc deficiency, and 20% had significant Zinc deficiencies.
The preparation has been enriched with vitamin D, whose deficiency is common among people living in Central Europe, including Poland, and is associated with a decrease in muscle function, and Zinc, which plays a role in regenerative processes, e.g. during recovery.
