India CDSCO Launches Auditing & Inspection of Foreign Manufacturing Facilities

India has introduced the auditing and inspection of manufacturing facilities in foreign countries to ensure quality of importing pharmaceutical products into the country.

India's Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has introduced the auditing and inspection of manufacturing facilities in foreign countries to ensure quality of importing pharmaceutical products into the country.

 

According to CDSCO sources, a three-member CDSCO team led by Arvind Kukrety, assistant drug controller, CDSCO, has already left for China in this regard. The team will audit and inspect three Chinese companies in the pilot project. The team, left the country for China on May 7, will be in China for three weeks and will inspect three companies.
