Indian Goose Launches Pharma Tracking Tool

The technology has been boosted by a directive from the Indian government to implement track and trace automatic identification processes.

India-based engineering solutions provider Goose has launched an indigenously developed tool which may help the pharmaceutical industry meet new packaging regulatory guidelines and detect counterfeit drugs.

Several global pharmaceutical companies have adopted Goose's Procon Tracker, which features encrypted serialisation and package authentication capabilities to protect pharmaceutical products from tampering and counterfeiting.

The technology has been boosted by a recent directive from the Indian government to implement track and trace automatic identification processes, a directive that has been widely accepted by the pharmaceutical industry.
