Integrated DNA Technologies acquires oligonucleotide synthesis company ValueGene

Company welcomes new customers with promise to provide seamless support for genomics research.

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) has acquired ValueGene, Inc., an oligonucleotide synthesis services company based in San Diego, California.

ValueGene offers custom DNA and RNA oligonucleotide synthesis products, including PAGE and HPLC purification and modification services.

Dr Joseph A Walder, IDT founder and CEO, said: “We look forward to maximizing the synergies between our two companies and building on ValueGene’s long history of providing quality products and services to its customers.”

Dan Dernbach, general manager of IDT’s West Coast operations, added: “ValueGene is well known in San Diego and Los Angeles.
