Product Description

Chios Mastiha is a natural resin of the Pistacia Lentiscus var. Chia, a tree which grows only in the Aegean island of Chios, Greece.  Numerous published international clinical studies verify that Mastiha is a medicinal herb with significant antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti bacterial properties.
Chios Mastiha is harvested in limited quantities due to the small area where it grows and the traditional labor intensive way of production.  We have ensured that its rare characteristics are highlighted with the most beneficial products.Uses:
• As a gum alone or with beeswax to make it softer.
• As powder for cooking. • As digestive beverage. Add 50g  in 1L of water & leave overnight.
