Med-X-Press plans to expand its narcotic storage capacity

Innovative technology stands for safety in handling narcotics

For years, the German pharmaceutical market has recorded a continuous increase in narcotics.

Furthermore, in 2017 the legislator allowed the prescription of medicinal cannabis under certain conditions, so that demand increased explosively. The care of German patients has so far only been ensured by imports, mainly from Canada or the Netherlands.

The world market for cannabis is on the move and the German market is in the focus of international players and observers. Med-X-Press, the specialist for narcotics logistics not only perceives the effects of developments in the narcotics market, but also analyses them precisely. The consequence: Med-X-Press is planning an extension of the supply in the narcotics sector and strengthens the service offer for customers.

With the permanently increasing demand for narcotics services, Med-X-Press is in demand as a reliable outsourcing partner. The service provider reacts accordingly and plans to build a new warehouse for narcotics.

As with the existing warehouses, security and air-conditioning technology will have top priority. Storage and distribution is one matter, the other is the service and consulting offer in the run-up to logistics and the handling of legal requirements.  The service portfolio of the narcotics  specialist includes the handling of customs formalities for imports from approved countries. The local customs office is authorised to clear narcotics - this guarantees short distances and smooth processing.
Med-X-Press also supports its customers in obtaining the necessary permits from the Federal Opium Agency. We have many years of experience in narcotics logistics and we are very familiar with import and export activities, a sector with great potential. After completion of the formalities, the products are stored in the "high security wing" and distributed in accordance with GDP.
