Mevopur™ Healthcare Polymer Additives

Mevopur™ Healthcare Polymer Additives
Product Description

MEVOPUR functional additives help protect or enhance the performance of polymers used in medical devices, diagnostic equipment and pharmaceutical packaging. They are available as additive concentrates (masterbatches) for dilution into a polymer or as ready-to-use formulation.

MEVOPUR functional additives open up opportunities in areas such as UV protection, clarity improvement for transparent applications, friction reduction, reduced cycle time, static buildup prevention, polymer protection during gamma/e-beam sterilization, thermal protection during converting/downstream sterilization, anticounterfeiting, and laser marking/welding.

They are manufactured under ISO 13485 protocols with documented change control. The raw materials are pre-tested to ISO 10993-1, USP chapters <87>, <88> (Class VI), USP <661.1>, ICH Q3D and EUP 3.1. We provide Drug Master File (Type III) documentation and other supporting regulatory declarations.

  • Webinar How to Achieve your Sustainability Goals in Devices and Pharma Packaging: Insights from Plastic Material Perspective

In this webinar, originally broadcast as part of the Pharmapack Europe show, Beate Treffler, Regional Sales Manager Europe Healthcare Polymer Solutions Europe, Sustainability in Healthcare is the new trend all across the globe. Although the amount of plastic waste is now less significant, it cannot be ignored, and healthcare leaders are taking measures. The negative image of plastics, the trend to use alternative materials and the need to reduce carbon footprint are driving the discussions. At the same time, stricter regulations, and the need to reduce plastics usage are impacting possible solutions. During this session, we will have a deeper look into sustainability, the possibilities and likelihood of success for potential measures and new solutions with plastic materials in Healthcare applications.
