New Iron API – Iron(III) Polymaltose Complex
Dr. Paul Lohmann® has recently developed Iron(III) Polymaltose Complex as an active pharmaceutical ingredient. This product is available including API documentation (DMF/ASMF) for the registration of a medicinal drug at health authorities.
Iron(III) Polymaltose Complex is mainly used to treat iron deficiency anemia. Moreover, there are studies indicating the application as a phosphate binder to treat hyperphosphatemia.
Iron(III) Polymaltose Complex is known for its high bioavailability as well as for its high patient compliance due to less side effects related to the upper gastro intestinal tract.
