Pfizer & Zacharon to Jointly Develop Drugs for Orphan Diseases
Pfizer and Zacharon Pharmaceuticals have reached a strategic research collaboration contract to develop drugs for orphan diseases. The potential value of the collaboration is approximately $210 million.
Pfizer and Zacharon Pharmaceuticals have formed a strategic research collaboration to develop drugs for orphan diseases, including lysosomal storage disorders.
According to the agreement, Zacharon will use its platform for developing small molecule drugs targeting specific carbohydrate polymers or glycans for the potential development of new compounds.
