Pharmaceutical Companies Allocating More Money to Digital Marketing

A report by Cutting Edge Information has highlighted the growing importance of digital marketing in the pharmaceutical industry.

Pharmaceutical companies are allocating increasingly large amounts of money to digital media for their product launches, research suggests.

 

The latest report from consulting firm Cutting Edge Information, entitled 'Launching Pharmaceutical Brands: Formulas for Commercialisation Success', found that digital marketing now plays an important role in global launches.

 

In fact, for the average pharmaceutical brand, investment in digital marketing will soon outstrip budgets for traditional media, the firm claims.
