PharmaNet and Anapharm Europe End JV
US CRO PharmaNet and Anapharm Europe have formally ended the bioanalytical services joint venture.
New Jersey-based CRO company PharmaNet Development Group, Inc. and Anapharm Europe, S.L., have ended their bioanalytical services joint venture on December 22, 2010. As part of the termination, Dr. Maria Cruz Caturla, Anapharm Europe's majority shareholder, has purchased PharmaNet's minority ownership interest, becoming the sole owner of the company.
Both companies will continue to provide bioanalytical services to clients from their respective lab facilities, and, if necessary, will work together to support client projects undertaken during the term of the joint venture.
