Quintiles to Acquire Advion BioServices for Laboratory Services
Quintiles, a biopharmaceutical services company, has agreed to acquire Advion BioServices, a US-based bioanalytical laboratory.
Biopharmaceutical services company Quintiles has agreed to acquire US bioanalytical laboratory Advion BioServices to provide a more comprehensive and efficient global solution for laboratory customers.
Advion BioServices provides Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) testing and other services. The firm employs more than 180 people in three US locations.
"Adding a premier bioanalytical offering to our existing CAP-accredited central labs network creates a one-source solution for lab testing across the development spectrum, anywhere in the world," said Thomas Wollman, senior vp, Quintiles Global Laboratories.
