Sanofi-Aventis & Stanford in Research Pact
Sanofi-Aventis and Stanford University will work together on up to five research programs a year, according to a multi-year deal.
Sanofi-Aventis announced yesterday its research collaboration through the Stanford University Bio-X program that supports, organizes and facilitates collaborative research projects in the early phases of development.
Under the collaboration agreement, a Stanford Bio-X and Sanofi-Aventis joint steering committee will fund as many as five programs a year. Sanofi will fund an annual research forum that will bring together researchers from both parties to share knowledge and perspectives on scientific matters and research projects funded through the collaboration.
