SCHOTT Launches Packaging Site in Russia

The new plant for primary pharmaceutical packaging is the company's second production site in Russia. The new site will produce premium quality ampoules and vials.

SCHOTT Pharmaceutical Systems has launched a new pharmaceutical packaging production site in Zavolzhe, Russia. The new production site will employ approximately 60 employees initially and will produce premium quality ampoules and vials.

 

SCHOTT supplies glass tubing and primary packaging for the pharmaceutical industry. The company has been selling ampoules, vials, cartridges and syringes to the Russian market already since the beginning of the 1990s. Until now, Russian customers have been mainly supplied from SCHOTT's existing pharmaceutical packaging site in Hungary.
