SGS Opens New Life Science Services Laboratory in Carson, California
SGS’s new Life Science Services laboratory in Carson, California opened with a ceremony on 23 October 2014.
The event was attended by Jeff McDonald, Chief Operating Officer, SGS North America, Mark Rogers, Senior Vice President, SGS Life Science Services US, Jihye Jang-Lee, General Manager Life Science Services, Jim Dear, Mayor of the City of Carson, members of the Carson City Council and Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from the local pharma and biotech community.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests were provided with the tour of laboratory which will conduct testing to support microbiological quality control analysis of bio/pharmaceutical products and bioanalytical testing of clinical samples. The day’s event concluded with a networking reception allowing guests to share ideas and also discuss specific projects with the Carson staff.
