Vincent Galand

Engineer and researcher by training, Vincent has 10 years of various experience in the fields of entrepreneurship, digital health, pharmatech and fintechs ecosystems. In 2019, together with Pascal Bécache, Didier Tranchier and Tuyet Bunouf, Vincent launched Digital Pharma Lab*, the first independent PharmaTech accelerator in Europe driving the digitization of the pharma industry.

Formerly, Vincent worked as a scientific diplomat within the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was appointed at the French embassy in Warsaw where he developed an unfortunate addiction to pierogi. Then, he came back to France and took on various business and tech roles as head of partnerships, operations manager, product owner and director of business development in SAFRAN SA (Aerospace), Ad Scientiam (Digital Biomarkers) and Embleema Inc. (blockchain for real world evidence data). In Paris, he animated a network of healthcare startups at STATION F, the world’s biggest startup campus.

Vincent is professor at ESCP Europe Business School in entrepreneurship, at EM Lyon Business School in Design Thinking and at the Medical Faculty of Grenoble in Digital Health. At the same time, he supports entrepreneurs on their issues related to product-market fit, the business model and public-private partnerships.

He is an alumni of UC San Diego (B.Sc Thesis, oncology), Harvard University (M.Sc thesis, regenerative medicine), Cranfield University (M.Sc, molecular medicine), Grenoble University (M.Eng. health and drug engineering) and the Collège des ingénieurs (Master of Business Administration).

Dr. Rasha Rady

Before founding CHEFAA, Rasha was an assistant lecturer of paediatrics at Cairo University. She got her PhD in paediatrics, and her speciality was in pediatric haematologyand oncology, where she dealt with chronic patients daily. She decided to get out of her comfort zone and founded CHEFAA with a friend as she believes the digital transformation of healthcare is inevitable, and she wanted to be part of that.

Holger Schmidt is an advisor to executives in the health industry for Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting group. He is a Partner at Strategy& Germany, based in Berlin. He is a member of the global Health practice, focuses on R&D and commercial strategy, and works with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech companies and providers. He also has cross-industry experience in telecommunications and consumer goods. His experience spans the E.U., U.S., and emerging markets, including Brazil, Russia, Korea, and Australia.
