In 2018, the Ministry of Commerce recognized the “Guangdong Zhuhai National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base (Biopharma) in Jinwan District”.The biomedical base built by Zhuhai City is not only one of the three major biomedical industry clusters in Guangdong, but also the only "national foreign trade transformation and upgrading base" in the mainland that can connect Hong Kong and Macao by land bridge.
