In October 2006, PS (phosphatidylserine) was recognized by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) through GRAS, which means PS (phosphatidylserine) can be added as nutritionally fortified functional food ingredients in yogurt, milk powder, bread, powder drinks and other foods.
