Cambrex Zenara Gains DKMA Certificate
A manufacturing site in India of Cambrex Corp. has acquired the DKMA certificate which may expedite the company's launch of its pharmaceutical products in Europe.
A GMP compliance certification from the Danish Medicines Agency (DKMA) is accepted by all EU Health Authorities and by authorities of several other countries. Cambrex Corp. has received the certification from the DKMA for its manufacturing site in Hyderabad, India, following an audit conducted in October 2010.
The DKMA certification allows the company to expedite the launch of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) products in Europe, in addition to offering finished dosage forms of other pharmaceutical products to European customers through an integrated value chain.
