Catalent To Buy Aptuit's CTS Business
Catalent Pharma Solutions announced that it will buy the clinical trial supplies business of Aptuit LLC for $410 million.
New Jersey-based Catalent Pharma Solutions will acquire pharmaceutical services company Aptuit's Clinical Trial Supplies business for $410 million in a cash and debt free basis. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year.
The acquisition is intended to substantially expand Catalent’s Development & Clinical Services business, transforming it into the second largest global provider of clinical supply solutions. After the transaction, Aptuit will focus on its integrated discovery to mid-phase development business.
