Haupt Pharma & Fraunhofer Institute Ink Supply Chain Pact

The alliance aims to boost the efficiency, quality and monitoring of the supply chain processes as part of a continuous optimization process, as well as increase economic efficiency through the reduction of reject quantities.

Haupt Pharma, one of the world's largest contract manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, has established a collaboration with Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML to optimize its supply chain.

The goal of the alliance is to boost the efficiency, quality and monitoring of the supply chain processes as part of a continuous optimization process, as well as increase economic efficiency through the reduction of reject quantities.
 
Dr. Hubert Bensmann, the member of the extended management board responsible for Supply Chain Optimization and managing director of Haupt’s Münster site, said,"By optimizing our supply chain processes, ourthroughput time will be further reduced and made easier to plan.
