Krill Improves Brain Function in ADHD Boys

Aker BioMarine has shown that a clinical study in children with ADHD has demonstrated significant improvements in both clinical scores and in identified EEG patterns as compared to the typical 'ADHD EEG pattern.'

Aker BioMarine (www.akerbiomarine.com) has shown that a clinical study in children with ADHD has demonstrated significant improvements in both clinical scores and in identified EEG patterns as compared to the typical "ADHD EEG pattern."  18 boys (age 7 - 11 years) with attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) were supplemented daily with Superba Krill Oil for a period of 13 weeks.  The EEG patterns for the boys were compared with a database of more than 400 children with an established ADHD diagnosis, providing ample comparative data.
 
According to Hogne Vik MD, PhD, of Aker BioMarine, "This is an important observation identifying positive effects on the central nervous system (CNS) after supplementation of krill oil in humans.
