Merck to showcase innovative excipients and Emprove Program at CPHI Worldwide

Innovative excipients for controlled release including, new biodegradable, biocompatible polymers for sustained release injectables and Parteck SRP 80 for oral solid formulation.

Merck will showcase a range of products and services for the pharmaceutical industry at CPHI Worldwide, 4-6 October 2016 in Barcelona, Spain at stand #2G11. CPHI is among the first conferences at which the combined offering of Merck and Sigma-Aldrich is presented. Merck acquired Sigma-Aldrich for $17 billion in 2015, creating one of the leading players in the life science industry.

Merck scientists will be available to discuss the company's extensive portfolio of excipients including solutions for optimized release, solubility enhancement and advanced drug delivery.

Merck will highlight the following products and services at the show:
