RCCA expands New Jersey operations
Cancer physician network continues growth spurt.
New Jersey's largest oncology physician network is set to witness further growth that will see three more practices join its increasing number of associates.
Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA) is already one of the largest medical bodies in the nation, having accumulated 92 cancer care specialists, 600 employees and 25 day delivery sites since its inception.The additional practices will result in the company adding a further 16 oncologists in Somerville, South Plainfield, Little Silver, Pompton Plains, and Westwood.
Edward J. Licitra, Chairman of RCCA, said he was "thrilled" with the expansion.
"These physicians have a longstanding reputation of providing superior cancer care in their community and will be of great benefit to the RCCA network and our patients," he added.
The additional practices, which between them represent an expansion of around 20 per cent, will allow the medical body to continue its provision of high-quality cancer care while efficiently controlling the cost.
