European Union
Food
grade quality is the only legal source of chondroitin sulfate in any kind of
food and food supplements in the EU. ScanDroitin USP is approved for use in
both food and food supplements.
With the latest amendment (EC/2016/355 amending
EC/853/2004) concerning chondroitin sulfate, for use in food and food
supplements, the manufacturing facility must be compliant with EU regulations
for food and highly refined products. In 2017, we received our reviseved authorization with the new laws implemented. As a result, you can legally and
with full confidence use ZPD chondroitin sulfate in a wide range of food
intended products for EU market and consumers.
