The Digital Revolution of Animal Health

15th September, 2022
4pm CET / 10am EST
What will this webinar address?

The webinar will explore technological innovation in the animal health sector and the opportunities it brings to the industry. The webinar will examine the role of data management, wearable devices, nanotechnology and how these innovations can prevent animal-human disease transmission.

Key discussion points include:

  • Understanding the current disease threats to animal health and why technology can help improve the standard
  • How innovations in data management can result in improved therapeutic products and healthier lifestyles for animals
  • Reviewing the role of wearable devices in animal health management, how can this play a role in preventing animal-human transmission?
  • A deep dive into nanotechnology and why it’s gaining traction in the market as a substitute for veterinary antibiotics
  • Exploring start-up innovation in the animal health sector

    Why attend:

The global animal health market was valued at USD 141.2 Billion in 2021 and is forecast to reach USD 181.7 Billion by the year 2028, growing at a CAGR of 4.3%1. This uptake is driven mostly by the prevalence of disease amongst domestic and livestock animals, and an increased awareness post-pandemic of the need to control and prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases. These concerns have led to industry investment in a suite of innovative digital technology solutions in recent years. Data management tools to help enhance clinical studies for future animal products, wearable devices to improve healthcare quality and help prevent animal-human transmission, and progression in nanotechnology for drug delivery, are all examples of how digital can aid progression in animal health.
