Xcelience Expands CTS Capabilities
Xcelience expands clinical trial supplies manufacturing and packaging capabilities with new manufacturing equipment and an automated packaging line.
Formulation development and manufacturing solutions provider Xcelience has expanded clinical trial supplies manufacturing and packaging capabilities with four new pieces of manufacturing equipment and an automated packaging line.
The new equipment allows for production, coating and encapsulation of MUDF delivery systems.
In addition, Xcelience has added a fully-automated packaging line (including ink-jet coding) for primary bottling of tablets and capsules. The new packaging line enhances the speed at which batches are packaged, shortens timelines to clinical trials, and enhances our ability to package larger batches of drug product.
