Xplore and Novatek collaborate on mobile data device for pharmaceuticals

A new tablet device has been developed for the pharmaceutical industry.

Novatek International has formed a partnership with Xplore Technologies to deliver a new mobile data device to those working in the pharmaceuticals industry.
The rugged tablet will provide real-time information to users trying to manage the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.
This dustproof and waterproof innovation can also be used in clean rooms and can be sanitised with standard chemical disinfectants without damage to the device.
A major benefit for clean room operations is that the tablet is protected against harsh cleaning solvents and contaminants of all types.
Mike O'Grady, director of sales and marketing for Novatek International, explained one of the reasons the group partnered with Xplore is that its rugged device meets its "stringent" clean room standards.
He said: "The synergy between hardware and software between Novatek and Xplore demonstrates how the merging of the latest technologies can be applied for the advancement and improvement in laboratory operations."
